Fashion Trend- the One Piece
If you follow my instagram you might have noticed that I recently got back from a fab vacation in Cabo San Lucas. My hubby surprised me with the trip to celebrate my 30th birthday and it couldn't of come at a better time. We escaped the snow and ice just long enough to relax, reconnect, and come back totally refreshed! It's crazy to think just a week ago the biggest decision I had to make all day was which of the six pools to lay out by (rough life eh?!). Anyways while lazing around the beautiful resort I couldn't help but notice all of the smokin hot one piece ensembles girls put together. I had also bought a one piece to bring on the trip and I was surprised how much fun I had finding different ways to style it. I quickly realized wearing a one piece doesn't have to be a "mom" thing, it's more a fashion thing! Here is the suit I picked out from Victoria's Secret. I ended up getting the tankini version instead of one piece so that I could still get my tummy tanned if I wanted to. However I love both versions.
I styled my one piece with a free people kimono, old target slide on espadrilles, and some of my favorite mexican jewelry. Never have I felt so beautiful wearing a "mom" suit! Even my husband who is definitely more partial to the string bikini said he really liked the new suit and the confidence I had while wearing it.
Here are some of the other hot choices out there. I can't believe I'm saying this, but I'm already looking forward to my next one piece purchase! Goodbye frumpy mom suit, hello sexy mama in a one piece. Just proves that showing less IS most definitely more.
xoxo,
Mandy
